My family tree includes names like “Peralta”, and “Refugio”. As a REALTOR® and past president of AMPI Los Cabos, I owe my success to pioneer Cabo REALTORS® Marco Ehrenberg, Chris Snell, and the late John Vering, who taught me and raised the bar for all of us.

Born and raised in Baja California Sur, son of Bobby Van Wormer Sr (one of the first pioneers in the area) and Rosa Maria "Cha Cha" Ruiz. Our family owns 3 iconic fishing resorts, along with one of Mexico's largest fishing fleets. Our focus has, and always will be, making sure that Baja Sur is developed responsibly and conserving the beauty and values of Baja. Because of our commitment to this, I ran, and was elected in 2018, to BCS District 6 State Congress, a position which is now currently held by by nephew "Yayo" Van Wormer.

I am a licensed realtor in Baja California Sur, active in Mexico real estate and development for over 25 years. As President of Van Wormer Real Estate and Development, I managed the marketing and sales of Villas de Cortez in Los Barriles and have designed, marketed and sold custom homes in Los Barriles, Todos Santos and Los Cabos.
